- The production design is fabulous. The last time I was this enchanted was Mulan.
- Everything up until the climax is wonderfully done. The final battle, if you can call it that, ended before it really began.
- How Far I'll Go is a great song (although there's a section of the song that kept on repeating the word, 'island'). I can't really remember any other song, unless it's the Maui song that tries very hard to be like "Friend Like Me" with a dash of the Greek Chorus from Hercules.
- Speaking of references, I saw some shoutouts that made me smile, like Life of Pi and Mad Max: Fury Road.
