Man, Omander is love. Also, Nadia is fucking awesome. I'm so excited next year, for her to kick ass and take names, especially Lu. Lastly, am I trash for liking Guzman? LOL

It has the spirit of the movie without being a slave to it. It's fun, and moving, and wonderful. Episode 4 is a great one, where it could have paled in comparison to the movie's version of Read more... ) but it will hit you where it can hurt.

I've been humming Neverending Story for a while now.

While Iain De Caestecker is always the MVP in any episode, I have to give a shout out to Joel Stoffer who plays Enoch. He made Enoch into someone I want to watch, someone I root for to succeed and survive to the end of the series.

YAAASSSSSS!

Despite not doing an Addison "So you must be the woman sleeping with my husband" Montgomery, Elijah is what I wanted. There's an electricity between him and Gael that was absent with Brian. He seems up to being a worthy rival for Gael's affections. So excited.

I find it fitting that Mary Ann is lugging around her literal baggage all around San Francisco lol

p.s. Murray Bartlett and Charlie Barnett are hot apart and together.

I think that the winner of the new and improved Project Runway is Christian Siriano.

I'm surprised to be saying this since I disliked him during his season but he's grown up and matured. He's not the focus of the cameras (well, not so much) so he can be there to help and guide the contestants with lots of humor, a very discerning eye, and his experience of being a contestant and winner of the show.

Also, that's the Continental from John Wick, right? Now, I want an AU where Karlie Kloss & Christian are assassins and friends of John Wick.

Oh and congratsRead more... )

This is definitely the David Tennant show. While Michael Sheen is fine, David Tennant is so great in this, and he seems to be having so much fun, chewing scenery as Crowley.

p.s. I wish they can do a good adaptation of the Discworld series. And while we're at it, The Endless.

QUEER EYE SEASON 3 is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The 2nd season started last week. I love this show. It was just another show, from Shondaland before she fucked off to Netflix or Hulu or not-ABC, but I grew to love it and every one in the cast, even the under-written ones. My faves are Kate Littlejohn and Jay.

I kinda love this continuing bit of characterization about Vijay Kapoor: whether it's his son, his friend from the coffee kiosk or a suspicious Secret Service, he can't read the room to save his life.

There's a love triangle on the show, and even if it's Callie and another guy fighting over Gael, it's the most boring thing in the world. Because not once since they introduced this triangle, that anyone is convinced that Gael will end up with the guy. I'm saying guy because even I forget what's-his-name's name. Because the show isn't interested in introducing a viable rival vs Callie. She's one of the two leads, we already know (and love) her from the long history of The Fosters but we don't know anything about the other one, we don't get a sense of who he is or his history with Gael (he was dating Gael casually before Callie entered the picture). Also, it's superficial but Maia Mitchell is gorgeous and the rival, while not ugly at all, looks plain and ordinary when they're in the same frame.

He's a plot device, an obstacle, a place holder until Callie figures out that Gael is as important to her as her job. Evs.
