Four Weddings and a Funeral
It has the spirit of the movie without being a slave to it. It's fun, and moving, and wonderful. Episode 4 is a great one, where it could have paled in comparison to the movie's version of ( Read more... ) but it will hit you where it can hurt.

The First Avenger
I caught the last part where Nick Fury tells Steve that he's been asleep for 70 years. That little half-shrug/sigh and then the shot of his face when he looks around at Time Square...he just realized everyone he knows is dead and gone. No wonder he's been jumping out of planes without a parachute since then.
Rocketman
Rocketman was the musical Bohemian Rhapsody was too lazy to be. Taron Egerton was a revelation as Elton John, and if Rami Malek won for that travesty of a performance, Taron should at least get a nomination.

Project Runway
I think that the winner of the new and improved Project Runway is Christian Siriano.
I'm surprised to be saying this since I disliked him during his season but he's grown up and matured. He's not the focus of the cameras (well, not so much) so he can be there to help and guide the contestants with lots of humor, a very discerning eye, and his experience of being a contestant and winner of the show.
Also, that's the Continental from John Wick, right? Now, I want an AU where Karlie Kloss & Christian are assassins and friends of John Wick.

The Sting
Man, Paul Newman was a babe, silverfoxing all over that movie and exclipsing Robert Redford. Also, props to him making that mustache werq!
Good Omens
This is definitely the David Tennant show. While Michael Sheen is fine, David Tennant is so great in this, and he seems to be having so much fun, chewing scenery as Crowley.
p.s. I wish they can do a good adaptation of the Discworld series. And while we're at it, The Endless.

Constantine
I may have some quibbles about Constantine (the movie) but I really have to give kudos to them for casting Tilda Swinton as Gabriel and especially Peter Stormare as Lucifer -- I love all the choices he/they made for him. Chef's kiss mwah!

For The People
The 2nd season started last week. I love this show. It was just another show, from Shondaland before she fucked off to Netflix or Hulu or not-ABC, but I grew to love it and every one in the cast, even the under-written ones. My faves are Kate Littlejohn and Jay.
