It's okay.
I think I'm tired of all those dystopian type of movies. I mean, for me, there's already a series that I find awesome (Hunger Games) and everything else seems to be found wanting. Anyway, I think that they did well with the Glade and the politics and interactions within it, which is made more tense by Will Poulter's Gally. I think that he makes a great antagonist and actually, takes focus away on soon-to-be It Boy, Dylan O'Brien. This was an okay move for him, although I've seen him do and act better in Teen Wolf. The one thought that stayed with me throughout the movie was that he needs to eat a sandwich.
Anyway, it's a tight movie until the last 10 minutes or so when it falls into the trap of establishing the inevitable sequel. Which makes me sad that Gally dies near the end, because it would have been great to have a character like him and an actor like Poulter in the next 2 movies.
