I liked it very much. As some have said, it's hyper-violent but what can you do? It's like a comicbook made real -- I had to marvel at the camerawork and composition, like when Gazelle jumps through the windows to with glass falling down around her or the 1st sequence at the pub with Harry and Eggsy.
Taron Egerton makes a perfect Eggsy (and he's cute and attractive too -- a sexier Chris Pine. Ish.) but this is much a story about Harry as it is about Eggsy, and Colin Firth makes a perfectly awesome non-Bond. As antagonists, Gazelle is scary and lethal and it doesn't surprise me that the actress who played her is a dancer. My one quibble is Sam Jackson and his lisp; every time he came on screen, I got a little thrown out of the story.
It was very entertaining and I might watch again.
ETA: I wouldn't say no to fic recs right now :D
