Just found a cable channels showing Aliens. I love this movie a lot; it's my favorite one in the franchise. I really loved Ripley/Ricks but subsequent watchings had made me a fan of Vazquez/Drake.
OMG, Vasquez and Drake were TOTALLY fucking at any time they were not shooting things. I have said this for YEARS. Aliens is one of those movies that, if I run across it channel flipping, I'll watch it, even if it's on a channel with commercials.
Me too. I will drop everything to watch Aliens. I love the cuteness that they found within the hypermasculine, ultra-aggressive setting. It makes me sad when I read that they wanted to make a sequel to Aliens but it took such a long time that the girl who played Newt outgrew the role. Think about it Aliens 3 could have been Ripley, Hicks and Newt kicking ass...
Oh, and my friend said that if Aliens were more a happy ever after sort of movie, Drake & Vazquez would be domming Gorman when they get back home.
