Penny Dreadful
Not dreadful at all.
It's so creepy as fuck and I love how they mashed up movie monster lore with Jack the Ripper, Dorian Gray, etc. It's also suprising to see Josh Hartnett on my TV. Eva Green rocks.
One thing that made me sad was Proteus. He was such an interestingly adorable take on a 'Frankenstein monster' that I forgot that he wasn't THE monster. Who arrived at the last second to tear his 'little brother' in two. RIP Proteus.
